Top Your Sundae with a Flag

Topping your sundae with an American Flag has been a Kellerhaus family tradition since the Keller’s moved the store to the Weirs in the 1960s.
The Keller’s wanted something different other than cherries for families to remember when coming to Kellerhaus.
The summer season lasts from Memorial Day to Labor Day with Fourth of July in the middle. It was though to be a great time of year to show your patriotism and top your sundae with an American Flag!
In the 1960’s the flags had to be order 3-4 months in advanced in order to get them here for summer.
Many customers look forward to covering their sundae with flags and will often run back to the topping bar if they forgot to get their flag.

Some people get one and others cover their sundae with flags.
Pile on the toppings including out Haus Made hot fudge, butterscotch, chocolate sauce, caramel and whipped cream. Finish it off with a flag.
Try this game introduced to us by the Santsuosso family. Have everyone build thier favorite Sundae and top it with flags. Then we eat. Whoever keeps their flag flying longest is the winner.
