Dirndl Dress Uniform
The dirndl is a traditional Alpine dress consisting of a fitted bodice, blouse, full skirt and apron. Originating as 19th-century working peasant attire, it has evolved into a beloved cultural staple for Oktoberfest, weddings, and regional festivals. Employees were required to make their own Dirndl Dress to work at Kellerhaus when the business moved to Weirs Beach. This was the uniform from 1966 until the late 90s. Kellerhaus employees still wear an apron while working but the dirndl is no longer part of the uniform.
